We first worked with Todd to buy a condo in 2018. The process was as seamless as can be! A couple years later, we had to move out of state. Unfortunately, this occurred during the pandemic which greatly impacted the real estate market in San Francisco. We decided to rent the condo for a couple years before listing it for sale. Some agents might have walked away but Todd not only stuck by us during this time but also connected us to great resources that made renting from another state much easier for me as a first time landlord. When it came time to sell, Todd (and his team) were honest, helpful and efficient. We had a great experience working with Marcus and his team in a rather complicated TIC sale. There were two separate owners in the building, each with their own priorities, which led to a sales process that needed a lot of coordination. Marcus and his team… patiently listened to each owner’s priorities and provided great guidance on prepping the property for sale, listing price, offer negotiation, etc. We couldn’t be happier with the end result. Both TIC units sold on the same day with transactions that both owners are very pleased with!

Todd was my buyer's agent in 2012 when I bought my SOMA condo and then my seller's agent in 2023 when we sold it. Both times, Todd and his team went above and beyond as advisers, guides, and thought partners.

In 2012, when I was looking for my first condo, Todd oriented me within SOMA, escorted me from building to building, and shared all of the inside baseball. Even though the process took several months, Todd never seemed impatient or hurried, and he never applied any pressure. He seemed to enjoy and internalize the process as much as I did. Once we'd found a place, Todd worked diligently to both close the unit and get it ready for use. I had to close remotely due to travel, and he and his team handled the renovation thoughtfully and seamlessly.

Once I owned, and later turned the unit into a rental property, Todd remained a dedicated agent, even fielding questions years later when there was little direct incentive.

When we went to sell, Todd was instrumental in strategizing the listing. Todd made several critical suggestions, including strategic upgrades, timing/cadence, and listing price, that helped us navigate a difficult environment (SVB collapse! FRB collapse! Constant bad press - much of it unwarranted - about SF) to make a successful sale. The Compass infrastructure, with its digital media campaign, beautiful staging, and general professional approach, won the day. Huge props to Todd's teammate Sandy, who essentially GC'ed all the upgrades. And thanks also to Marcus, who did a deep dive on comps that really helped me crystallize my thinking around listing price.

Today, I consider Todd a trusted business partner and friend. He's done right - more than right - by me and my family. I can't recommend him and his team enough. And as evidence of that, I've referred Todd to multiple friends who've ended up buying (and selling) with him as well.
